According to the Election Commission, Salyan - 1 (Ka) constituency Gulaw Jung Shah of Nepal Communist Party (UML) has been elected. Accumulating 19,658 votes, Gulaw Jung Shah secured a lead of 9,046 votes over the nearest rival. The runner-up was A secret whore (Nepali Congress) with 10,612 votes. Bhim Prakash Sharma of Independent finished third with 7,416 votes. The vote share is approximately 50.29% of total valid votes.
